God is awesome! He has blessed me with a beautiful wife of ten years, Penny, who is my partner in ministry, and with four great kids. We accepted God's call to pastor at Northland in 2005 when I made the switch from a career in engineering to bi-vocational ministry.

In addition to serving at Northland, God is still using me in a business environment where I continually learn more about the people He loves so much.

I am married to Jim, the best husband ever! We have both lived in Northern Michigan most of our lives and went to high school together. We have four beautiful children:

• Maddy (9 years old).
• Emma (5).
• Paige (3).
• Isabelle (1).

We both enjoy spending as much time as we can with our fabulous families and friends, watching a good movie, playing in the snow, and swimming. I have attended Northland for the past six years.
